Lanimer Celebrations 2025

Get ready, Lanark! June is just around the corner, and so is the much-anticipated Lanimer Week! This year’s celebrations run from Sunday 8th to Saturday 15th June, kicking off with the traditional Kirkin’ of the Lord Cornet Elect and wrapping up in style with the Lanimer Ball.

The highlight? Lanimer Day on Thursday 12th June — a spectacular parade packed with vibrant floats, dazzling costumes, marching bands, and of course, the Crowning of the Lanimer Queen. Enjoy a fun-filled afternoon at Castlebank Park and don’t miss the Evening Spectacular at the Cross to top it all off.
