One of the routes used during the Riding of the Marches, this circular route starts next to Lanark Racecourse then follows historic tracks on the eastern edge of Lanark. Although never far from civilisation, the western sections enable you to feel as though you've escaped from it all, with tantalising glimpses of the Clyde Valley below.
