The Crown Tavern is a traditional Bar & Restaurant ideally situated in Hope Street in the historic town of Lanark. We serve Traditional pub lunches and evening meals 7 days a week. All our food is cooked fresh on the premises and our menus offer outstanding quality and value. We welcome families & large groups and for couples seeking a romantic meal for two, we offer the perfect setting within our ambient restaurant. Our restaurant offers the perfect relaxed atmosphere for all occasions. Set across two levels, we can accommodate pre-booked large parties, families or couples in our traditional restaurant setting. The Crown Tavern Bar offers a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere with a traditional central bar serving a selection of cold lagers & beers from the tap, a fine selection of malt whiskies, branded spirits and ciders. This Wetherspoon pub is the former Clydesdale Hotel, built, in 1791, by the town council and gentlemen of the county, as a first-class coaching inn. In 1827, the elegant and spacious Assembly Rooms were added to the rear. By the mid 19th century, the hotel had become an important staging post, with coaches departing for Edinburgh, Glasgow and London. The Inn had many important visitors, including William and Dorothy Wordsworth and Charles Dickens.

We have been established in Lanark since the early 1980s. La Vigna was built on a principle of offering the very best authentic Italian cuisine served alongside the finest wines.

The Woodpecker Bar and Restaurant is a busy and popular establishment in Lanark's town centre. Established in the early 1980s, the Woodpecker Restaurant has always prided itself on providing excellent food and service in equal measure. When you combine that with reasonable prices, it's not hard to see why its popularity has endured for more than 25 years. Just like the bar, the restaurant has been modernized in recent years, and like the bar, it is stylish and contemporary. The new extensive food and drinks menus that have been created, are also available in the restaurant.
