Go Craft Daft! is a series of fun ‘make and take home’ workshops for children aged 6-12 years. Workshops run from 2pm-4pm and take place in the School for Children on the dates below.

8th April: Easter Bonnets, Headbands & Headdresses

10th April: Easter Mask Making

13th April: Egg Box People

15th April: Paper Plate Flowers and Collage

17th April: Easter Mobile Making

The Scottish Wildlife Trust will also be raising money with a duck race in the Mill Lade at 3pm each day!

With a superb variety of stalls indoor and out selling food, drinks, gifts & crafts it is the perfect opportunity to get some unique presents or even a little treat for yourself!

This fabulous event is jam-packed with the latest craft innovations, special gifts and delicious food and drink. Split into three fantastic areas: The Food & Drink Hall, The Creative Craft Room and The Gift Boutique, there is something for everyone! There will also be a selection of market stalls with quality food and drink for the public to buy in the outdoor area!

Be sure not to miss out on the fantastic food demos by New Lanark Mill Hotel, all made with delicious local produce and New Lanark’s very own ice-cream. Cake decorating and tablet and fudge making demonstrations will also take place throughout the day! Our inspired crafters will also be showcasing their talents with a programme of demonstrations, including basket weaving, enamelling, hat making, yarn-spinning and much, much more!
