Trainee Customer Service Administrator Location: Lanark Permanent, Full time - 8.00am – 4.30pm Nicholson Plastics is a market leader in the manufacture and supply of Water Tank solutions. The company also offers full end to end project management service, supporting the design, manufacture and installation of solutions for the water storage industry. The Role The Trainee Customer Service Administrator will be expected to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment carrying out all administration duties as required to support the office, this primarily involves processing customer orders. The successful candidate will be enrolled to complete a L6 apprentice in Business and Administration and following successful completion of this, will have the opportunity to progress in to a permanent position within the Customer service team. The person You will be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and behaviours as well as product knowledge when speaking to customers. You will operate in line with the company customer service standards providing customer service over the phone and via email. The role requires you to be pro-active, fast-paced and be able to handle multiple enquiries at any one time. Duties and Responsibilities • Responding to customer enquiries both via email and on the phone. • Demonstrate a high level of customer care, accuracy and attention to detail at all times. • Acknowledging orders with the customer and then processing the orders on IFS. • Issuing job cards to the factory for manufacture. • Working with the Customer service team to ensure deliveries are in-line with the installation schedule. • Responsible for ensuring completed deliveries have delivery notes put through. • Liaising and booking with various hauliers in different locations. • Managing and tracking delivery of third party supplier items. • Liaising with customers and other departments to ensure products are delivered and installed to meet customers program and requirements to give customer satisfaction. • Liaising with production to forecast stock and responsibility to ensure correct levels are maintained
• Updating the team and customers with ETA’s throughout the day. • Proactive and commercial approach to resolving logistic issues. • Updating and maintaining data on our bespoke system. • Assisting the Customer Service team with daily tasks • Any other duties as assigned by the management team, to ensure the needs of the business are met.
