The countdown to Christmas begins! Join us for our much-loved Christmas Market (10am–5.30pm), where the High Street comes alive with dozens of stalls overflowing with festive treats and thoughtful gifts. Our local shops, cafés, and eateries will be spreading the cheer with delicious seasonal offerings, while free family entertainment keeps little ones smiling all afternoon. As the day fades, gather with us for the grand finale — the magical Christmas Lights Switch On, led by Santa himself at around 5pm!

At 6.30pm, the spectacular Illuminated Lanimer Parade bursts into life with colour, music, and festive energy. With live entertainment and Santa making an appearance for those perfect family photos, this is a night to shop, stroll, and soak up Lanark’s magical Christmas atmosphere.
