Lanark Amateur Musical Society (LAMS) have announced the Scottish charity MND Scotland as Charity Partner for their 2027 Production of GUYS AND DOLLS.
Emma Young, LAMS President said: “We are delighted to welcome Scottish charity MND Scotland as our charity partner for GUYS AND DOLLS. We’re very proud to be supporting this charity which is very close to our hearts. We’ll be raising funds for MND Scotland throughout the year at our fundraising events like our Quiz Night, Race Night and annual Lanark Christmas Post. MND Scotland will also be bucket collecting at our GUYS AND DOLLS performances, so we’d encourage audience members to give generously and support this charity and their very important work”.
Fiona Gibson, MND Scotland Fundraising Lead said: “A huge thank you to everyone at Lanark Amateur Musical Society for supporting us with this production. The funds raised will provide invaluable support to people living with MND in Scotland and give hope by helping to fund ground-breaking MND research. We can’t wait to see LAMS perform GUYS AND DOLLS.”
MND Scotland’s vision is for “...a world without motor neuron disease (MND). Until that day comes, we are here to make time count for everyone affected by MND in Scotland.”
GUYS AND DOLLS is the classic ‘musical fable of broadway’, made even more famous by the 1955 film featuring Frank Sinatra and Marlon Brando. LAMS’ production will transport audience members to a bright and bustling New York, with a large cast and an impressive 18-piece live band.
Tickets will be on sale soon for GUYS AND DOLLS, taking place at Lanark Memorial Hall from 11-13 March 2027. Sign up to the mailing list to be first to hear about tickets and other news: https://lams.us21.list-manage.com/subscribe?u=a1cdc43d02104a5ef4e36e1f3&id=fcb2227966
