This c.4km walk circumnavigates a large area of Lanark greenspace, starting at the site of Lanark's eastern historic Toll Gates, progresses along Cleghorn Road then cuts into a (recently renovated) path before making its way to the site of the former Bellfield Hospital - now a housing estate. If desired, walkers can take a 'there and back again' detour to see the scenic location of the Mouse Water river by following the signage. Image credit: Community Action Lanarkshire.
