We welcome all players and supporters, of any age (16+ at the moment) and ability. If your new to the area why not come along and meet now people or if you want to learn to play rugby give us a shout.

Training is on a Tuesday and Thursday night, from 7pm until 9pm. If you want more info then email us lanarkrugby@hotmail.co.uk

Lanark Rugby Club was founded in 1936, and was admitted to full membership of the Scottish Rugby Union in 1973.The club crest is a double-headed eagle, and the club colours are gold shirts, navy shorts and navy socks.

Lanark Racecourse has been home for the club since its foundation. Changing facilities over the years have varied from Nissan huts, converted railway goods vans, and the present clubhouse which has been lovingly restored and renovated over the past three years.

When they where inaugurated in Season 1973/74, Lanark RFC competed in the National Leagues. Unfortunately Lanark were later relegated and competed in the Glasgow District League until Season 1988/89. Currently Lanark are in the Scottish RBS West regional division 3.
