Can you spare an evening a week to help run a group or spend some time with a young person on a one-to-one basis, giving young people some much-needed fun? Are you passionate about giving our younger participants opportunities to grow in confidence and develop friendships? We require a team of volunteers to support the young people that we work with. Our volunteers are responsible for transporting young people to and from each session. Therefore, you must be able to drive and have access to a car to take on this role. In return, you will receive the full support of our dedicated staff members, reimbursement for any expenses relating to your voluntary role and, of course, the truly rewarding experience of making a positive impact to a young person’s life. *Please note: the training date booked below is one of a series of five, for two hours, in Hamilton, that takes place weekly. Dates are as follows: - Wednesday 30th April, 6.30pm – 8.30pm - Monday 21st July, 6.30pm - 8.30pm - Monday 28th July, 6.30pm - 8.30pm - Monday 4th August, 6.30pm - 8.30pm If you have to miss a date, we can be fairly flexible. There also is a short volunteer interview but again we can flexible with this.
