Sessions are designed to give children an opportunity to try something new, learn new skills, use their creativity, develop their imagination, and have fun. The sessions will be for one hour and all materials will be provided. It is a good idea for your child to wear something to protect their clothes from paint or glue splashes and bring something to drink in case they get thirsty. A parent or carer will need to be available so that children are not unsupervised if leaving the room to use the toilet facilities.
The sessions have seasonal themes and will use a range of arts and craft supplies, recycled materials and natural items that have been collected from nature. Each session will include an arts and crafts project that children can make either on their own or with assistance from their carer, and an unstructured art or sensory activity that will allow them to use their imagination and explore a range of materials, textures, and art techniques.
