Lanark Town Centre will be alive this festive season with sparkling lights and magical displays with the return of Discover Lanark’s free Winter Wonderland.

The gates open to families from near and far on Saturday 26th November and remain open until Wednesday 28 December. 

So, why not take a wander around Lanark town centre, enjoy our fabulous festive scenes, stop off for a tasty treat and do some Christmas shopping at the same time?

Experience our magical walkthrough display outside Tolbooth Lanark, where you’ll find our new singing reindeer, brought to you by Rotary Club of Lanark, Santa’s Sleigh, the Nutcrackers, our Polar Bear bench and a number of other festive displays. Meanwhile, the Gingerbread Family will be taking up residence in Bannatyne Street by the railway station amidst a flurry of twinkling lights in the beautiful illuminated trees. 

Santa and his Elves will be making special appearances on Saturdays 3, 10 and 17 December between 11am and 3pm, guaranteed to put a big smile on the kids faces and a great opportunity for some festive family photos!

Please note that the walkthrough display will be open daily from 10am to 6pm although all displays will remain illuminated until later in the evening. Closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
