Music in Lanark is delighted to welcome back Rose Room. The Scottish Jazz Award-winning band celebrate their fifteenth year with material from their recent album plus a handful of festive favourites in the style of the great Django Reinhardt. Crowned ‘Best Band’ twice at the Scottish Jazz Awards, Rose Room are Scotland’s leading ensemble influenced by Hot Club Swing. 2025 marks their 15th anniversary as a band and they’ve celebrated with a grand UK tour and the release of a new album: ‘It’s Been A Long, Long Time’ - a collection of their favourite tunes, songs and guest musicians that they’ve ‘gathered’ throughout their journey. In this special Xmas show entitled ‘Django Bells’, they’ll play some festive favourites in the style of the great Django Reinhardt alongside their feelgood, swingin’ 1920s/30s repertoire including their 2024 single ‘What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?’
